A Lost in Pages series

CROSS FIGURES

Numerical crosswords for adults. Every clue is a sum or a fact, and every answer goes in one digit per square. Calculator allowed.

How a cross figure works

A cross figure looks like a crossword, but you fill it with digits instead of letters. Some clues are plain sums. Others use another answer in the grid, or describe the number, such as a palindrome or a square number. Where the answers cross, the digits have to agree, so each one you solve helps with the next.

No answer begins with zero, and a calculator is allowed throughout.
